It is my privilege to work with your student in 8th grade math at Scott Middle School. I hope you will find this web page useful in learning more about me and my expectations.
Students are welcome to re-test over any objective on the chapter test. However, three conditions must be met: 1) Homework for that chapter must have been completed in a timely manner BEFORE the test. 2) Students must do additional problems to practice the skill before re-testing. 3) Re-testing will take place on Mondays after school and on Wednesday mornings at 7:15 a.m. in Room 213. It is expected that any re-testing will occur before the next chapter test. It is the student's responsibility to be here for re-testing. Re-testing will not take place during regular class time. Students will receive FULL credit for any items done correctly during the re-test.
By clicking on the "grades" link to the left, you may check on your student's most recent progress report. You will need to know which class he/she is enrolled, last name, and the computer password issued by the district. I will update this report periodically, but NOT on a daily basis.
