This course is taught in Spanish.

The fourth year of Spanish focuses attention on the individual student by emphasizing continuous progress in writing, reading, and civilization. Speaking and listening comprehension is strengthened by the use of the language in class activities. Literature, in the form of articles, poetry and short stories, provides greater emphasis on reading and new insight into the culture of the Spanish speaking world including Buenos Aires, Argentina, Spanish Harlem in New York City and Costa Rica.

We will cover chapters 7-12 in the text, VEN CONMIGO, Level 3/4. Each chapter contains 2 pasos and we will spend approximately 2=3 weeks on each followed by a quiz or other assessment. At the end of the chapter, there will be a chapter test and a project. A final exam will be given at the end of each semester.
