INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY MAJOR OBJECTIVES

WORK HABITS AND ETHICS Students will develop and apply cooperative, safe and positive work habits and work ethics.

PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS Students will apply basic skills, thinking and problem solving skills to the processes, materials, equipment, technologies and products of industry.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND PROCESS Students will learn and demonstrate the use of technological concepts, material resources, technical skills, process and procedures specific to industry.

APPLICATIONS OF ACADEMIC & TECHNICAL SKILLS Students will strengthen and expand their academic and technical skills by applying them during the completion of integrated tasks assigned as part of their course study.

VOCATIONAL EXPERIENCE Students will experience vocational learning in classroom, laboratory and/or at a work site location.
