1st Semester

The following are topics that will be covered during the 1st Semester of Advanced Placement United States History.  These may include the weekly syllabus, notes, identifications, short answer questions, etc. for each topic.

The Primary textbook is America's History (ASH) by James Henretta, et al. I will regularly refer to it as the 'Henretta' text and it will be abbreviated "ASH" on these pages.

The Secondary 'textbook' is "Preparing for the Advanced Placement United States History Exam" by Newman and Schmalbach, published by AMSCO. I will refer to it as the 'AMSCO' book.

We will use both books liberally and I will regularly supplement them with other sources, documents, etc.
