Julie Nelson


My Name is Julie Nelson I am a A/V Technician at Lincoln Southeast High School in Lincoln, NE. This is my seventh year at Lincoln Southeast. (Home of the Knights) I have been married for 25 years and we have three son's - Paul (a 1999 LSE graduate, Eric a 2004 LSE graduate, and JT a future LSE knight.) I am here to serve you in the audio/visual area. Listed below are the areas of where I can be of service to you

A. Provide daily service schedule and trouble shooting of A/V equipment such as; TV/VCR/DVD, Mac and PC laptop computers, LCD projectors, sound systems, LaserDisc, Carousel projectors, overheads and yes even record players
B. Coordinate instructional television taping and assist in cable television usage

C. Assists others in creating photographic, multi-media and video productions.
D. Duplicates, repairs, and edits DVD/videotapes in all formats, and scheduling programs from television and radio.
F. Use computers to create multimedia presentations, and generates digital mixing and special effects for video production
G. Provide in service opportunities for both staff and students as needed and train/supervise and student assistants that are assigned to the audio/visual area of the media center from a teacher for school projects.
H. Carry out maintenance plan for all audio/visual equipment.
I. Maintain incoming and outgoing DVD/videos from LPSDO, including preview videos.
