Spotlight Award 2008
Spotlight Awards
For the past thirteen years, Time Warner Cable has recognized and rewarded area educators for their innovative use of technology in their classrooms through the annual Spotlight Awards. Specifically, the awards:
*Recognize outstanding local teachers who develop learning experiences using cable television programming or technology
*Encourage the development and effective use of Cable in the Classroom educational programs
*Stimulate an exchange of innovative ideas and programs among educators
Each year, at least three winners received a $250 cash prize, as well as a LCD projector for their school. Winners are announced at Time Warner Cables annual Spotlight on Education Night in May. All applicants are recognized at a dinner reception. Deadline March 28, 2008.
