This is my 31st year of teaching. This is my philosophy on music education:

The success of this music department depends on the cooperation, as well as the continuous progress of the individuals that make up the groups. Every attempt is made to recognize that students at the Middle Level are in different stages of maturity, interest and performance abilities. It is my hope that students will gain an appreciation of many types of music and that they will grow and mature on their instruments through practice and performance. This progress requires desire on the part of the student, nurturing and direction from the teacher and support from home. Together we can do great things.
