Academic Connections
Academic Connections class is offered to 7th graders each quarter. It is a 9 week whirl win tour of what first year French class is like. We cover the first 3 chapters of the French I book which will introduce students to the basics of language learning. We experience reading, writing, listening and speaking activities as well as a few cultural projects. Students should expect small amounts of homework and perhaps a quiz or test some time throughout the quarter. It is a hands-on, low stress, cognitively engaging class set up to give students a taste of "français"!
