Français I
Français I otherwise known as French I is a year round class set up to give students the foundation from which to grow. It is an exciting year full of reading, writing, listening and speaking activities as well as cultural projects. Students generally get an opportunity to view a film or 2 in the authentic French language. We will learn about and discuss many different francophone countries and cultures found throughout the world. Students will receive a textbook to use and will need a notebook and a folder or binder for the year. Expect homework 2 to 4 times a week as well as quizzes and tests throughout the year. It is a journey filled with fun and exciting adventures as well as some good old fashion studying. French I is designed to help students become confident speakers through communicative activities. So... be prepared to "parler"!
