Help Center
No grade is attached to the World Language required Help Center (Room B-120). It is required because the World Language Department has determined that missing homework is not an option. The World Language Help Center is meant to be a motivator to students, and a place in which to receive help from a language teacher! The typical scenario is that students come in to the Help Center on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday to complete the homework. If they do not show up, other interventions are used, such as phone calls home, referrals if continued problems, lunch study hall, etc. Most students who forget an assignment one day will hand in the paper the very next day in order to avoid going to the Help Center, which is perfectly acceptable.
