Hausaufgaben
am 9. Mai, 2008: Print out all exercises that you complete and turn in today. First view the Power Point with the 'koennen' verb: PPT Uebung #1 Uebung #2 Do not print next exercise, but do it so you can do #4: Uebung #3 Uebung #4 Uebung #5 Uebung #6 Uebung #7 Uebung #8 Uebung #9 Uebung #10 Uebung #11 Next go to Komm Mit online (my.hrw.com) if you have your username and password. If not, use your textbook and type up the complete sentences for these 3 exercises: Mehrgrammatikuebungen #5, #6, #7 of Zweite Stufe, Kapitel 7. These should be typed up and handed in today. If you run out of time, turn it in Monday with the handout that you will receive today.
am 25. April faellig: Klicke auf Food and Drink for exercises to practice the vocabulary list of food terms. Do all activities on this Quia site and be prepared for a vocab quiz over these terms on 4/25/08.
am 18. April 2008: READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!! When you click on 'Plaene 1' you will have a pull-down menu to choose which one matches the picture. Read the entire sentence out loud; there is some new vocabulary which is good. You need to know this vocabulary to help you for 'Plaene 2' You do not need to print anything off for Plaene 1; just go through it a few times, reciting what shows up in the box below the pull-down menu. If you make an error, do it over. To advance to 'Plaene 2' simply click on that button at the bottom of the page when you are done with 'Plaene 1'. For 'Plaene 2' you will need to type in the sentence which answers the question as if you are the person pictured. Next, click on 'eingeben' and the next text box will tell you if you are correct. When you have a correct answer, copy and paste it into a word document so that you can print it out and bring it to class. Be sure to do a good job as you will have a quiz over this tomorrow. Search for one and write the catalog description, price and color. 3. From what material (Stoff) is the Sakko made? 4. Wie findest du den Sakko? 5. You wish to buy a blouse. Search for one and give the description and material. 6. "Gefaellt dir diese Bluse?" "Was kostet diese Bluse?" 7. Search for another 'Kleidungsstueck' that you need. Was ist es? Wie sieht es aus und was kostet es? 8. Klicke auf 'Wohnen und Haushalt' und danach auf 'Wohnzimmer'. Such ein 'sitziges Liegesofa'. Klicke auf das Wort 'Liegesofa'. View the 3 pictures available. Describe the sofa (auf englisch ist O.K.) and then give the price and list all of the colors it can be ordered in (auf deutsch, bitte) Das Ende!

Describe the Clothing (A) (Read example re. Natalie and then type in sentences #3, #4, and #5 describing all 12 articles of clothing.) Was tragen die Leute? (B) Practice with clues the first time; when you are ready to do it on your own, go for it. Print a copy of the one you do without help. Describing Clothing (C) Type a description of what each person is wearing, including the color, and email it to your teacher.
