Señora Texley
Yo soy la Señora Texley, y me encanta el español. I have always loved the hispanic language and culture, so teaching Spanish is a great match for me! As a Junior in high school, I studied and lived in Torreón, Coahuila, México for six weeks. The experience completely changed my life! I decided to major in Spanish at the University. I earned my BA degree in Spanish language, with minors in Sociology and Latin American Studies. In 2007 I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I have traveled extensively in Spain and Peru. I also lived in Querétaro, México while I attended an extensive language institute at the Tech de Monterrey. I returned to my studies at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and received my teaching certificate in 1994 . Teaching at Lincoln East High since 1999 has been very rewarding. The Espartanos really rule!
