Tips for success
THINGS TO DO OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM
1. Talk in Spanish with friends and teach your family!
2. Watch the Spanish channel (specially commercials) at least 3 times a week.
3. At home dedicate 10 minutes every day to practice or review vocabulary and class notes. Invest more study time a few days before quizzes and tests.
4. Spend adequate time doing your own homework and projects.
5. Keep all your Spanish work together in a notebook and if possible buy a Spanish-English dictionary.
THINGS TO DO IN CLASS
1. Be punctual for class and hand-in assignments on time.
2. Take notes and participate in class.
3. Ask questions and say, " REPITA POR FAVOR" when necessay for comprehension.
4. If absent contact teacher before school, class or lunch, and make up work promptly.
5. Set a time to visit and chat with señora Cantarero when confused or needing practice with a lesson or concept.
