¡Hola! Thank you for visiting my website and taking an interest in your child's education. I am excited to begin another school year and look forward to having your student in my class.
First, I will tell you a little bit about myself. I graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in 1992. I taught for the Seward Public Schools before going to Lincoln Northeast High School. I took some time off for family and returned to teaching at Irving in 2001. I teach Academic Connections-Spanish to sixth graders, and Spanish 1 to eighth graders. I have been married for eighteen years to "Bob", and we have three eleven-year-olds. (yes, triplets) Natalie, Nathan and Nicholas attend fifth grade at Campbell Elementary. In my non-teaching time I like to hang out with family and friends. I also enjoy running and participate in local road races. I have completed sixteen marathons in four different states. I am the Cross Country coach for the Irving Aardvarks.
I love being at Irving! The staff, students and parents are second to none! Visit the class your student is in under My Pages. I will post assignments and provide you with other information on those sites.
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. You may call me at home: 499-7106, or email me: nstanley@lps.org.
