All about Madame Lefler
BONJOUR!
I was born and raised in France (Paris) for 22 years of my life. I met my husband in 1967 in Paris and was married in 1968 in Monterey, California. We lived in California for 17 years. Our family is made of my husband, three boys (35; 33 and 26) and a daughter (23). Since February 14, 2006, my husband and I became grandparents. Her name is Elise Etiennette Lefler! I have been living in the States since 1968 and in Nebraska since 1984. I love Nebraska and the seasons but I have to admit... Cornhusker football let me cold!
I got my degree at the University of Lincoln, Nebraska: B.S. in education (Highest distinction in 1987. Currently, I am 10 hours away from a Masters degree. My endorsements are French and History. Teaching is my life!
My goals for my students are as followed:
1. To be successful and enjoy learning French.
2. If they need French in college, I want my students to move to higher level classes and not go backwards. (for you parents, it means saving money)
3. If French not needed for major in college, my students should qualify for requirements. BE AWARE THAT YOUR STUDENT WILL REQUIRE FOUR YEARS OF WORLD LANGUAGE TO GRADUATE FROM COLLEGE!!!!
4. Finally, last but not least to expand their horizons and other cultures awareness.
