Goin ta Kansas City
On Sunday May 6th, the Freshman Band, Concert Band, Orchestra and Symphonic Band will be traveling to Kansas City‚s Worlds of Fun to participate in the annual Festival of Bands and Orchestras. Except for 2006 when we went to Chicago, the Symphonic Band has been Grand Champion of that festival for 15 years straight.
The cost per student is $55 per student. The trip needs to be paid in full by April 14. This covers transportation costs and admission to the park. The students will need money for two meals in the park and possible souvenirs. We will be traveling on motor coaches, not school buses.
Deposits need to be made at any Pinnacle Bank Branch in account 927494. Bring the white receipt to the band room with your students name on it and that the deposit was made for Worlds of Fun. Make sure you keep the yellow receipt for your records. If you have enough money in your band account and you are current with your London finances you may have the money deducted from your account.
We will leave Lincoln High School at 6:30 a.m. where the students will have free time in the park upon our arrival. This is the performance schedule for all four groups.

We will depart the park at 7:00 p.m. arriving at LHS South approximately at 10:30 p.m. All rides for students need to be available at that time. You can check the progress of our return trip by calling the band voice mail - 441-9692. I will update it on a regular basis.
A more in depth letter will be sent home prior to the May 6th trip.
