Lincoln Public Schools All City Festival
The Lincoln Public Schools Large Ensemble Contest proved to be a great
night for all four of Lincoln High School large ensembles.
The orchestras and freshman bands were in the Lincoln Southwest
practice gym, choirs were in the auditorium and the top bands were in
the main gym
The all new Freshman Concert Band received a Division One Superior
Rating, the Concert Band received a Division Two Excellent Rating, the
Lincoln High Orchestra received a Division One Superior Rating and the
Lincoln High Symphonic Band received a Division One Superior Rating,
the only „top‰ band in the city to receive that rating.
We would like to thank the Lincoln Southwest music staff for hosting
the contest and congratulate them for a well run festival. We would
also like to congratulate all the groups that performed that evening
for another year of outstanding performances on a hard judged
night.
